I sort of doubt that the new Tokyo High Power
linear has that sort of sophistication in it.

The wording was changed slightly to allow amplifiers that can prevent
operation at 27.999MHz but allow it at 28.000. These include amplifiers
like the Alpha 9500, Acom 2000 and other amplifiers that have computer
control which will detect the frequency of operation and prevent
amplification of signals that fall in between 26-28 MHz. Don't know if
it requires re-certification or not...
