[ICOM] Re: Icom 706mk2g getting hot

Good 13.8 VDC supply is essential on the 706 series.  12v isn't good enough.
A good ground is also a big plus.  And especially if you remote it, BE SURE
to use that little ground screw on the remote cable.  That alone can cause
all kinds of headaches!
