Hi Paul - If you could, I would like to get the mod info...
Yes - My fan does come on, but I would like for it to run continuously... 
and I would probably like to find the mod that incorporates the extra heat 
sink.  When I run the unit in the house - I don't seem to have the 
problems,, it only appears when I run it mobile, although somebody suggested 
that I may be getting some RF floating back into the unit in the mobile... 
guess I need to ground it more???

What about the transmit audio going into distortion when its gets hot?? 
Anybody got anything on that??
