[ICOM] IC-28H

I own an old IC-28H 2 meter FM rig. In order to scan the 21 memories you
must depress the up or down buttons on the HM-12 hand mic. Does anyone know
if the memory scan can be activated by pressing a couple of buttons on the
rig? I like using my SM-6 desk mic with the rig and it does not have up/down
scanning buttons.
