I have the 1.9 in my original 746 and it makes the voice sound SO different
that it is questionable whether it really "helps" or not. The voice is hard
to understand with it on so sometimes better to leave it off, tolerate the
intermod making it easier to understand. I just don't care for the 1.9
filter, period. I do try to use it occasionally but NOT unless I CANNOT
hear any other way.

Just my opinion,
73, Jim
