Actually, later production of the IC-706 Mk II
included the DSP unit as standard equipment.
If I recall, Icom did  NOT  raise the price when
it was included.

It comes as an accessory and the customer installs it.
The DSP is not as good as the W4RT's DSP and I am
going to install that DSP in my G.
