I finally got around to installing the UT-106 that I
have had almost as long as Mk II that I bought new
before the DSP was included.

I also installed the FL-232 (350 Hz CW) and FL-223
(1.9 kHz SSB) filters.  What an improvement!!!

Somewhere around here, I also have the speech unit
to install.

The UT-106 installs into an IC-706MKII, I have one with a
UT-106 installed.  After a while it was included as standard
into the rig.

The IC-706MKIIG had the UT-106 installed from the factory

The UT-106 Will NOT install in the original IC-706 however.
