[ICOM] $1200 ProII

Three or so years ago, I bought my first 756ProII brand new from a dealer
for $2900 and got a "free" PS-125. During the first year I was very pleased
with the radio except for the flawed QSK performance. I decided I wanted a
second ProII so I started scanning the various classified lists. To my
shock and amazement, I found one for $1400 60 miles away. It was pristine,
like new, perfect and included everything that came with the unit when it
was new. It was about a year old.

Interestingly, I've seen ProII's offered lately on a couple of classified
lists for $200 - $300 more than I paid some time ago. I guess one just
needs to be patient and persistent. Eventually they will become available
at the price you want.

As for selling one of my ProIIs for $1200 today.....shucks.....if other
guys are getting $1600 to $1700....why can't I??? |8^)
