[ICOM] help needed in A6--problem solved

Thanks to all who wrote with suggestions.  N1NK suggested I just hold the 
down arrow instead of both the up and down arrows and darn if that didn't 
reset the PW1 so I could get to the next step and have the input light to 
blink.  That and changing the baud rate to 9800 vs auto.

So, I HAVE POWER!!!!
