It seems to me, based on my experience, that two options exist: Dan can
replace the reed relay on the amp keying line or he can accept its demise
and use the output through one of the accessory jacks (a DIN jack).
I use mine through the appropriate DIN jack and a solid-state key interface
I assembled myself.
It certainly seems that the operation of the DIN output is dependent on the
health of the reed relay.
