Hi Mike,
...and then we can watch re-runs of "Hawaii 5-0" in style. Afterwards, when
analogue TV goes dark and all digital TV moves off OTA onto cable, DSL and
satellites...and the OTA TV channels are reallocated to LMR, wireless data
services and governmental comms services...
Oh well, the "set-top box" makers should do OK...
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

I hope ICOM comes out with a new receiver. It should have a good video
display - but it must have excellent audio too. It needs to have a big
screen that you can see across the room, and be able to receive multiple
bands, like around 50-75, 175-220, and 470-900 MHz. Additionally - it
should accept a second input that covers 50-1000 MHz - NO BLOCKED
frequencies. It should have accessory outputs for video and audio. It
should have set level outputs for recording. It should have an IR remote
control so you can use it without walking over to it. It needs to have
multiple modes - like LD and HD.
OH - wait.... Doesn't SONY make one like this already?
I have always thought some of the stuff you hear about Dayton gets started
on 1 April. Kind of an early "Peek". <grin>
