[ICOM] New Icom at Dayton??

I have never been to Dayton but visit the Icom booth every year at Dallas Ham-Com. So far its just been 
pretty casual with displays , catalogs/brochures and the reps are always there but I have never seen 
anyone in bathrobes ? Have they done this type of thing at Dayton ? Sounds like a car show.   Randy N5WV

 Maybe they finally figured out how to design a completely software
defined rig that they can market. Seems like the next logical step in
their product line structure.

Or maybe it's just going to be a squeezed down IC-7000 in an HT type
enclosure.

Mysteries like this, with magazine tickler ads, is what draws people to
their booth area at Dayton. Of course, girls in bathrobes, plastic pigs
flying through the air, and other novelties through the years, also
helped draw a crowd.
