Ok thanks fellas I will try and get some sewing machine oil and dribble a little down the shaft like I did the WD-40 and maybe she
will be ok.

I may have a spare one on hand just in case since someone offered to send me one.

One of the things that makes Ham Radio what it is, we all stick together in times of need.

I remember once when a guy in San Antonio who was blind lost his station due to lightening and about 16 guys banded together
donating from their own lot and pulling back in favors from others to get him back up and going.

I was one of the sixteen so I know how rewarding it can be to do such a thing.

Any new Hams reading this please take it to heart, we are a *real* community not just a "hobby".
