[ICOM] PUTTING AN ICOM IC-M700 MARINE RIG ON THE HAM BANDS

Dear Friends:

It looks like in a few days I will have an Icom IC-M700 marine 
tranceiver that I acquired via a swap, along with an AH-3 autotuner.  
(This is NOT the PRO version).  Sounds wonderful, except...

I want to:

1. Add CW to it.

2. Add a VOX.

3. Use digital modes on it.

4. Be able to TX/RX on the 12 and 10 meter ham bands. (It only 
     gets up to 22.999 on TX and 23.999 RX now.)   The other ham 
     bands are of course no problem.

5. Make the AH3 work down on 1.8 MHz.

6. Is there any way to add a VFO, instead of push-button tuning?

If anybody can help me, or point me in the right direction, I would 
be appreciative!  I have done extensive Google and Yahoo searches 
and come up empty-handed on these specifics.
