[ICOM] Metering problem with 751A

I would start with the T/R relay...sounds like it's intermittent

Looking for advice....my 751A meter is intermittent in
received only, when it stops nothing registers -- but
when I key the transmitter the receive metering works
again -- for a while, then receive metering will stop
again until I repeat this process.
 
Any suggestions where to look for the cause of this
problem would be greatly appreciated!
