[ICOM] ICOM IC706MKII

Hello all,

Sorry I am a bit late in posting this but by reading the replies it
appears that no one has suggested the internal fuse in the 706 may be
blown. I just can't remember exactly where the fuse is located but it
is there. An automotive glass type of 4 amp rating.

I replaced the fuse in my 706 with a 3 amp unit a couple of years ago
when it blew and have no problems with it. 4 amp fuses are not easy to
obtain in VK but the 3 amp ones are common.

It is easy to forget the rig has a fuse inside it too.

Regards,

Des - VK3DMP.
