You are right Adam.  I got my IC-2KL in Germany - and not only is the "MOD"
done, but it has the front panel, LEDs, switch and markings for the band.
As you know - this is not something easily added and does not come with the
kit.

Having done it both ways - buying the unit already done is the better
choice.

Some day I will find a PW-1 like that.  If I ever get interested in HF again
that is.  I cannot remember the last time I used the IC-2KL/AT500 as it is.
