[ICOM] IC-706 MKIIG

I just had a similar issue...
Hit the TX and down the radio would go!
After a bit of troubleshooting and exchanging the rig, head and power 
cable with another we discovered the little screw that bolts the 
inferface cable to the body of the radio was loose!
Tightened the screw and viola!  All is fine again.
