[ICOM] Measurements IC-706 MkiIIG vs IC-7000

Jim

The measurement from the back of the control head to the front of the main
tuning knob is:

For the IC 706MKIIG  44.3 mm or 1.7321 inches

For the  IC 7000 is 47.3mm or 1.8415 inches

So the IC 7000 is 3mm larger than the  706

The control cable is different for the IC 7000

As I have not yet turned on the 7000 I cannot answer the last question.
