That's exactly the circuit that Sultantronics uses.  Their model LVP (Low
Voltage Positive) is good for amps whose switching relay voltage is up to
+60 VDC (TIP34 transistor).  Their LVN is for amps with up to -60 VDC.

For you guys using older amps (SB220, etc.) their models HVP and HVN will
handle amps with up to +/-150 VDC on the switching line.  The High
Voltage models are the same price as the Low Voltage models.

All models come in a plastic box about the same size as a small wooden
match box.  Well-marked RCA jacks on each end of the box to accomodate
the cables from the rig and the amp.

Very neat package!
