Does anybody have a suggested starting point
for troubleshooting VERY low senstivity on
an IC-25H transceiver? I have repaired the
mic and have good power output out of the
transmitter, but it takes about 50 uV to just
break the squelch. I suspected PIN diodes,
but they seem to check out okay with the diode
check function of my Fluke 77. I'm trying to
possibly pin down the problem before going
through the pain of removing the circuit board
in the PA section.

By the way, a good replacement for the microswitch
in Icom microphones is made by Philmore, #30-2500.
I bought all the parts store had at $1.75 each.
Dang sight cheaper than a new microphone!!!!

TIA
