Hi Bill,

The finals don't need saving. I know of no case in which an IC-756Pro-series
radio has overheated and suffered PA damage.

As mentioned on this page, the radio should always be installed in such a
way that it has adequate air-flow clearance.

I understand there is a fan modification for the 756PROII that will help
save the finals. Is it recommended by ICOM?  If so I would appreciate any
information for the mod anyone can provide.
