Thanks Larry,  That is how I have the 756PRO set up, but don't have a PEP
reading wattmeter here.  It is still a little surprising to see the PRO
meter reading at only 70 or so when the 756 original meter would show 100
watts on SSB.

John: If you have +13.8 VDC at the radio at the DC power connector at full
power out , you are in all likelyhood getting 100W pep out on ssb. An
external pep wattmeter should also confirm this. My 756 pro digital and
analog meters only indicate about 70-75 watts out, but my external pep
wattmeter indicates slightly more than 100 pep out into a dummy load on all
