First, to those who offered their thoughts, thank you very much.

Actually, it has been many years since I replaced the bulb and I 
quite honestly can't remember what size it is -- I seem to remember 
something around 14V.  As to its physical size, it slides through a 
little grommet but I can't recall the size.  I was hoping to not have 
to take the cover off for any length of time but guess that's a 
project for tomorrow.

The company I used to deal with in Toronto no longer seems to list 
any of the particular size and I was hoping someone might know the 
exact ICOM part number or the details of the actual bulb.  I was just 
trying to take the easy way out, hi!

I will report.
