Hi Andre,
Suggestion - If the buttons have incised lettering, use 'White Out' to
refill the incisions. Wipe away excess before it dries.

Subject: [ICOM] Icom 761 / 765 Advice needed
Hi to all,
I am in the process of restoring an old Icom 761 Transceiver. This radio has
sentimental value to me and I need to replace all the buttons on the face
plate as the silkscreen had been worn off during the years. Icom America
tells me these parts are no longer available, so I am desperately looking
for a parts radio.
The band change buttons as well as the mode buttons are not readable
anymore.
Either the 761 or 765 would do. I really only need the buttons, but will buy
an entire radio too.
Any suggestions?
