[ICOM] IC-706MKIIG - It cannot be this difficult

I was going to get DX4win for my 706g but no way am I going to now. I can't believe you are using 48. I use 58 withHRD

The first question is, are you *absolutely* sure that the com port on the
computer is OK?  I once had a uart which failed such that either cts or
rts wasn't working right, but simple I/O was OK, and it took testing the
blasted card for everything to find the problem with the one line.  Rare,
but possible.  So you might want to look at that?
