[ICOM] IC-706MKIIG & CT-17

I have been unsuccessful in seeing the 706 as of yet. I am going to change
a couple more parameters at lunch today and see if that works. If not, I
have one of those simple interface cables from the N9 in Arkansas and I will
try that. If that does not work I think possibly the interface in the radio
is bad.

Woody,
Very good and no offense taken. The radio display
however shows the h and cannot be deleted. Kind of
wonder if my hunch was right. I had to cycle through
almost all possibilities before it worked for me on
two different IC-706MKII's and both finally worked
with 04h. I must say that I set the address manually
and not by software.
