[ICOM] 737/738

On 738's, the one I have here has a fault in
the antenna tuner section.  It works OK with
the AH-2/4 external tuner, but the internal
tuner can't find a match, so it times out.
One person near Chicago said it wasn't
economical to repair.  One other repair person
said he didn't have the required test gear.
Question: Has anyone heard of a 738 tuner problem
before?  Does anyone know of one being repaired?
Otherwise that is one fine radio.  It does all
my SWL, which I do a lot of.
