Adam,

Of course - your comments are my intentions exactly.  I have the replacement
part and just need the time to do it.  I don't use the extra power too often
anyway, always using barefoot first.  What I have done since is reduce
exciter output to an appropriate alc level.

I do believe Harry is correct on the lack of current.
I do enjoy tapping into the vast knowledge that's out there.

Hi Tony,

I assume that you have the Field connected to the PW1 Exciter 2 input
(including ALC) pending replacement of the broken ALC 1 pot. The ALC must be
properly connected and calibrated for safe operation of the PW1.
