[ICOM] Activity question for Icom 706 radios

Well, actually I know it's designed to come off, but it keeps the screen
from getting scratched, and from oily fingerprints, beer and coffee
splatter, smoke, etc.
And, when it some time to sell, a great selling point on how clean and
unmarred the screen is.
