Vladimir,
TNX for the info. Well, I'll have to try the combination between Drive and
Mic gain. On the other hand, people don't coment that there are distortions
on my audio, it's 100% clear, but they can hear every wisper that is in my
house... I could talk to the mic from 10 meters distance ;-)
But OK, before I touch the L17 and L16 which seems to be comp level
adjustment as the service manual says, I'll try other posibilities.

>>> Hello from Poland,
>>>
>>> I've just purchased IC 775 DXII with high s/n 1600 (japaneese market),
>>> seems that manufactured in 2002. The radio looks like new and I was told

>>> DSP, unfortunately I noticed that the s-meter lamp flickers while

>>>
>>> Is there any mod to ged rid of this? It's quite irritating...
>>>
>>> And BTW, did anyone ever tried to adjust the compresion gain level in
>>> 775? I'm running SM20 desk mic and I find the compresion level too
>>> strong, even with mic gain set to 10 o'clock. Below 10 o'clock the audio
>>> starts to disapear, so that's not the solution. I missed the comp. level
>>> pot. which were available on my old IC 736.
