My pro 2 was in going into an enclosed cabinet, AND i believed the
set ran very warm especially by the front color display, i looked it
over for a solution.

I ended up with a small 12 vdc fan mounted on the left rear, which
mounts partially over the vents. It has a dropping r to slow it down
to a level where i do not hear it at all. It pulls enough air so that
the front LCD panel is only lukewarm, and the top is not much above
ambient. It takes it's 12 from the ACC socket and the fan draws under
15 ma... I measured many times... it's even fused at the plug.

and it is all mounted in a cabinet, with a ton of other stuff....
