[ICOM] IC-775DSP parts radio value

A local ham has become incapacitated and will be entering an assisted living 
facility after his release from the hospital.

Among other things he has an IC-775DSP which has resided in a very, very 
heavy smoking environment, and has many intermittents.

It does put out the full 200 watts, and does in fact work if you push the 
right buttons extra hard and re-insert the right plugs, and you ignore the 
intermittent display, but it should still be considered a parts radio.

As I still repair my own radios I am somewhat interested in obtaining this 
radio myself but do not have a clue what I should offer.

Any ideas (or offers), anyone?
