[ICOM] Icom 756PRO question

Dick: Have been following this thread, and it appears from your desriptions
that I too experience this same type of intermittant interference in
precisely the same fashion and to the same degree that you have stated. I
already have a Pro III and can tell you, I have not found the means if it
exists to overcome this interference. Always wait for Adam Farson to comment
as he is most knowledgeable party I know on all Pro's including the III.

Thanks, Mike. As soon as the weather warms up I will go fox-hunting for a
street lamp as you describe. Do you know if the current crop of ICOM noise
blankers is affective against such noise? I am about to turn in my
18-year-old radio for a Pro III and I'm wondering if doing so will fix this
problem.
