What about the "hash" that looks like a little saw-tooth marching across
the bottom of the scope and sounds like someone is using an arc-welder? I
have always written this off as arching powerline insulators as it starts
and stops unpredictably. Is this the kind of interference you would refer
to as "an infinite series of harmonically-related tones"?
Just curious as I would love to find a NB that would handle it.
