Tks for the info, Anders. This suggests that Icom has finally figured
out that DSP is not even the future, let alone the present (RF engineers
could have told them that a long time ago--evidence Ten-Tec) of good
receivers, and wants to build a radio that will compete with anything.
Wonderful news, even though I will never spend money on a 7800, since it
won't do much more than the 775 with roofing filter already does, even
with the new front end. Vy 73! Hope all is well your end. Jan N0JR
