[ICOM] IC-7800 hardware upgrade availeble

Hi all!

>From a newsletter released from our local Icom supplier the following is announced!

IC-7800 gets a aditional 3 kHz roofingfilter 

ICOM has made an hardeware upgrade kit with a aditional 3 kHz roofingfilter.  The kit includes RF and PLL Unit  for A and B receiver, that is  PCB's with three different kristall filters in the first MF with 3, 6, and 15 kHz roofingfilter

Quite much work and thereby $ is involved to do this work.

Probably this upgrade will be standarad in the future for new IC-7800's.

A new  PLL unit is included in this upgrade and phase noice is said to be reduced.

This upgrade will involve $$$ and is more or less availeble upon preorder!
