[ICOM] ICOM Pro series: backlight issue

I used to have an IC-756 which is famous for problems with its LED. Once
upon a time the famous problem has hit my radio... The famous horisontal
lines came up. The backlight has been put on MAX then. Having seen the
lines, I have lowered the backlight to the level (60-70%), the lines
disappear while the whole display remains perfectly readable.
It was good 5 years ago.
The radio has been sold to another guy who extemsively uses it every day and
there is not a sign of problems neither with the display itself, nor the
controlling circuit.
