[ICOM] Fiber Optic Cables.

Good evening all.

Does anyone on the list have a broken Fiber Optic Cable for an
IC-900 or IC-901 in your junk box? Will you let it go? I have come up with
a fiber optic cable from some of the IT guys at work. It isn't quite the
same as the ones we use on the 900/901 radios. But I would be interested in
experimenting to see if I can splice together something that can be made to
work with the 900/901 radios. I currently have one cable working and in
use. But I can see that if anything happens to it, it may be difficult to
replace. And if I can come up with a way to "FIX" broken ones - it may help
others.

Then again, it might all be for nothing. But I can try. If you
have something, even if it is cut, I would like to try. The connector ends
are what I need, the cable will be spliced to them. I HOPE. OTOH, I could
end up super-gluing my fingers together! <grin>

Oh - I am an EXTRA class license, so you need not fear I will use
the fiber optic stuff on CB. <grin> As if that would stop me?
