[ICOM] ICOM's on AM (again)

I've used my 756 PRO II with a Heath SB-200 for the last several years on
AM. I haven't seen the problem you refer too. I also do not use any ALC
connection between the rig and the amplifier. I do monitor the output
waveform of the amplifier with a scope. PRO II output power on AM is
generally set to a max. of 25 watts output.

And, to someone's mention of "few hams use AM"; AM popularity has grown
over the last 10 years as more and more amateurs are finding the fun of
using a "vintage" mode on "today's" rigs. AM is the pleasant sounding
form of amateur radio. The 746, 756, 7000, and 7800 all have a great AM
sound on the air.
