Rgr the fire. WD-40 is now banned from our job because of that.
Two underground linemen were in a vault working on an HV distribution
problem. They were using WD-40 to clean some parts. Something arc-ed, and
the WD-40 exploded. The foreman had to reach in and pull them out, then do
CPR on both till another near-by crew arrived to help. Nasty event. They
all survived. I don't remember, but I think the gas in it was propane or
something like that.
Now - that might be something to think about if you own a K or a Y brand!
Convince the wife to let you get that new PRO-III.
