I think you will find that the encoder has locked up. Try the screw adjustment as
Larry has pointed out, but a few of my 765/781s have had the same problem and I
repaired them by cleaning and lubrication. There is a website that shows how to
repair this issue. Maybe one of the other guys on here remembers the URL.
