Eric:
Depends on what you have to work with.
My wife didn't want me drilling holes in the vehicle.
So I use the ashtray hole in the center console.
Pulled out the ashtray, used some of her plastic foam she uses to stick flowers in vases, covered it
with saran wrap, used her hot glue gun to mount an 1/4" plywood pieces at 90 degrees to it (for
strength), with the 706 mounting bracket screwed on. All I have to do is pop the ash tray out, slide
the handy-dandy remote head mounting block in place and slide the 706 remote head on.
For the antenna, I use a mini-Tarheel, 48" nested, mounted to a license plate mount.
No holes in the vehicle!
Pictures attached in the email to you.
