Hi Fellas:
Haven't been on in a while because my IC-775 that I traded up even for a TS-2000 (best deal I have ever made) was in the shop
suffering from dual watch issues.
The Icom IC-775 is the best rig I have ever owned or operated since 1965.
But Icom didn't just stop at the immediate issue read-on.
The guy who swapped rigs with me obligated himself to pay for all repairs and shipping.
The Repair Facility in Washington did a fantastic job and went the extra mile (which is more than I have heard from other owners of
other makes these days).
The rig had some missing screws in the chassis when I got it and they even replaced those at no extra charge, just like new.
May not seem like a big deal to some, but to me it is because it is the sign of Excellence that Icom is all about.
They sent it back to me with a brand new CPU and D/A converter. They also checked it out completely while the had it on the bench
and did a complete three day intensive computer controlled check out on it.
They also made sure it had all the latest mods ect since it came from the factory with none and none had been done (TILL NOW THAT
IS).
All this for 130.00 plus some shipping.
Again *ICOM TOPS THE REST*.
Now I know why I keep coming back to Icom, or at least did - Now I am home to stay.
Thanks Icom,
73 fer nw,
Bob AD5VJ(AAR6VM)
