I've used a Low Boy mount and an MB-65. Both glue in place. The Low Boy
glued like iron. With a hair dryer it can be removed. So the manufacturer
says. The adhesive is made by 3M. I left it in the truck when I traded it.
The MB-65 came off with a hair dryer cleanly. No residue at all on the dash.
But it requires a large surface area. It went from the dash of the old '95
Dodge RAM to the underside of the shelf of my operating desk. Same adhesive.
I just bought an '05 Dodge RAM. I'll use a Low Boy in it. The MB-65 Just
won't fit.
