Good evening, Aaron and list.
I bought my OPC-646 from YV5COMM when he first listed
six of them. I got the first of the six. You can probably
find my call as a buyer on the auction.
I bought the CS-2710 from him about 10 days before
he listed the OPC-646 in his auctions.
I didn't find any instruction sheet with my disk.
I'll be anxiously awaiting a copy of the instructions
for the programming process.
I have already downloaded the program and put
the desired memory info into a file, so I just need
the info on how to transfer the file.
Many thanks and 73,
Mac, K2GKK/5

p.s. I have been prowling the e-place for quite
a few months looking for these items. A Hong
Kong dealer informed me he was out of stock
and didn't know if he could even still get them.
I guess we lucked out, eh?

I bought the last OPC-646 from VY5COMM last week. I also got the
CS-2710 software for DOS - it came with a single double-sided
instruction sheet folded to fit with the disk.
I haven't installed the software yet, but I doubt it's used to control
the radio - most likely more like the software for my W32A - You can
backup/save memories, program/edit memories, set basic functions, etc,
but not actually operate the radio. Just makes it easier to program and
save the memories more than anything else.
When I get a chance, I'll scan the doc sheet and e-mail it to you
direct. I won't be at work tomorrow (Thursday), so I'll try to e-mail
it on Friday.
73!
- Aaron, NN6O
