I bought the last OPC-646 from VY5COMM last week. I also got the
CS-2710 software for DOS - it came with a single double-sided
instruction sheet folded to fit with the disk.
I haven't installed the software yet, but I doubt it's used to control
the radio - most likely more like the software for my W32A - You can
backup/save memories, program/edit memories, set basic functions, etc,
but not actually operate the radio. Just makes it easier to program and
save the memories more than anything else.
When I get a chance, I'll scan the doc sheet and e-mail it to you
direct. I won't be at work tomorrow (Thursday), so I'll try to e-mail
it on Friday.

Subject: [ICOM] Need info/manual to use CS-2710 Programming Software
forIC-2710H
I have bought the Icom CS-2710 programming software
and the OPC-646 programming cable for the IC-2710H.
HOWEVER, instructions for use of these did not come
with either item.
It appears that your computer substitutes somehow for
the front panel, but the Owner Manual for the 2710
only mentions that the optional software and cable are
(or were) were available.
Ideas or help, anybody?
Thanks & 73,
