Hi Adam,

I would have said that yours is a good guess, but many costs have gone up
recently leaving most with less money for radios. I would suspect that a
PRO4 will be coming out - perhaps to include features in anticipation for a
military version for the upcoming World War.

Japan will likely be an ally against North Korea and the uprising Islamic
factions of Malaysia and Philipines who will rise in sympathy to support the
action of the "Islamic Sword" of jihad that Iran will unsheath elsewhere
perhaps in congruant timeing of the coincidence of the Pesch and Easter
cellebrations of peace loving Jews and Christians worldwide.

I forsee a ruggedized version of the 'PRO - frequency agile, smart tuner,
USB interface, flash upgradable, and keyboard ready.

My doughnuts are really, really good. If you win - and it doesn't happen,
I'll make tea cakes instead of doughnuts because I like light things with
tea.

Do you prefer raspberries or strawberries on your tea cakes - and may I ask
if we have having a full bodied Assam or a nice fragrent Darjeeling? I like
Assam - it seems very malty - like beer!

Hi Bob,

My gut feel (for whatever it is worth) is that there will not be a direct
successor to the IC-756Pro3. Any new mid-price Icom offering may well be
positioned somewhere between the 756Pro line and the 7800, and intended
compete with the VS/Yaesu FT-2000. It is likely to be somewhat higher-priced
than the 756Pro line.

Of course, the above is pure speculation on my part. Please keep an eye on
my Icom page...

I think you can go ahead and purchase a Pro3 with confidence.
