I installed a narrow CW filter in my IC275. It was routine as far as I
can recall. It was over ten years ago. But it is soldered in making it
necessary to remove the circuit board to get access to the solder side.
Lots of hold down screws as well as plugs that should be removed.
I agree that the bulbs are a bear to replace in this radio. The filter
is a lot easier.
