Hi John:
In my reading all over the internet lately doing research
on the Icoms I have seen posts about this before. It seems
the answer to your question is yes the INRADS fit better.
It is a problem with the standard filters for some reason.
One guy reported that he actually taped a piece on the
inside of the case so when it was put back together it
pressed against the filter to hold it in.
BTW - I am not recommending this as a fix :0)
Just letting you know what one person did to accentuate
that it is a problem. Another one said he got the INRAD
filter and it worked fine.
